EAP LAB is made by people, young and experienced scientists, with strong background in building physics.
The key focus of EAP LAB applied research and tech transfer is:
1. Development and novel testing of new smart materials for the built environment and energy systems,
2. Human centered design of indoors and outdoors through multidimensional comfort analysis and occupancy behavior investigation,
3. Microclimate modeling and monitoring of building districts for urban heat island mitigation and inter-building optimal operation.

EAP LAB is a multidisciplinary group of people+infrastructures interested in wellbeing in indoors and outdoors, from the small (material) to the inter-building scale, especially located in dense and "overheated" urban environment affected by local climate change.
